Anisa Filonia is a Kenyan Iranian Australian artist, with a background in design and fashion. Interested in creating artwork that invites the viewer to discover something new each time they interact with it. Heavily influenced by nature, she draws inspiration from the textures, colors and compositions found there.
Recent works have been focusing on abstract portraits that explore and question notions of identity and invite the viewer into conversation and introspection on their perspectives. These works are created using avant-garde techniques to create layers of interest and depth.
